FLEETWOOD.

{Tee – eBay; shorts – No name; Boots – Topshop; Sunnies & Necklace – Sportsgirl; Perfume – Coco Madamoiselle}

Planning hot weather outfits sucks! It has been absolutely sweltering in Melbourne lately, which means minimal effort and a lot of frizzy hair. This is one of my all-time favourite tops, which makes a lot of sense given Rumours is one of my all-time favourite albums. I would definitely put it in my top three. Others I rank in the top three include; Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix (Phoenix), Abbey Road or the White Album (The Beatles), The Remote Part (Idlewild) and maybe Good News For People Who Like Bad News (Modest Mouse). Some might say I can’t count to 3.

Oh and I’m also clearing my wardrobe for some much needed cash flow. I’ve started putting some stuff up on the ‘Bay and there will definitely be more to follow shortly. Click here to donate to charity/my eBay.

MAKE A WISH.

{Dress – Angelica Dress C/O Wish; Floral Headpiece – Sportsgirl; Boots – Jeffrey Campbell; Bag & Belt – vintage}

This is a much more girly ensemble than I’d usually don, but when I received this beautiful and feminine dress from the lovely team at Wish, I just knew it had to be paired with something ultra sweet. I wore this to our Australia Day gathering, and sitting in our garden under a big tree, I felt it was definitely right at home. I have way too many dresses in my wardrobe but this one is far more versatile than most; it’s made from a really gorgeous soft fabric, has a wonderfully lined skirt and all the finishes are elegant and really well constructed  – it almost feels vintage!

Wish are currently running a pretty amazing competition called “Who’s That Girl”, with a prize pool worth $3,000 up for grabs if you can correctly guess which supermodel will be back and starring in their next campaign. The website is dotted with hints, but they have an extra clue for Style Paws readers! It is: “This mystery model has been gracing the pages of the hottest international publications. She recently shot a stunning editorial for German Zoo Magazine with photographer Greta Ilieva.”

So go on and enter quick sticks! Hope you all had a wonderful Australia Day yesterday! x

FIELD OF CLOVERS.

{Images via Clover Canyon Facebook}

Meet Clover Canyon, the Californian label that has stolen my heart away. I mean look at those pants, those silhouettes, those prints!

As I was clicking through their lookbook, I just kept falling more and more in love. Maybe I’m a little bit late to the party, but I’m seriously in swoonsville now. The whole collection exudes vibrance and a beautiful fluidity (in both style and design), plus look like they would feel like an absolute dream to wear.

I’m particularly pining for the Hibiscus print skirt and the silk pajama-style pants. Yes, please.

WOODGRAIN.

{Skirt – Beginning Boutique; Tee & Necklace – Sportsgirl; Bag & Cardigan – Vintage; Faux tail – Twin Cat Vintage (RIP)}

Not going to lie. This skirt from the lovely Beginning Boutique is definitely on high rotation in my wardrobe right now. The charcoal grey colour goes with pretty much everything I own, and the gathering is flattering rather than fattening. It also stays in place, unlike the majority of my skirts, which enjoy blowing up in the wind and flashing everyone my undies when I walk to work (this happens more frequently than I care to admit).

Paired with a basic, well-cut tee (which Sportsgirl is doing so well right now) (obvious work plug?) and easy ankle boots (the Ambush by Topshop in black FYI, since I forgot to take a full length pic), this would have to be one of the most comfy looks I’ve ever sported on my blog. Happy Monday everyone!

MINT.

{Jacket & Necklace – Sportsgirl; Shirt – No Name; Shorts & Bag – Vintage}

One of my favourite trends right now is delicious sorbet pastel shades and crisp whites. It literally looks refreshing after a sea of eye-popping colour blocking and is a really pretty, subdued continuation of it. I don’t really feel like this particular look does the trend any justice, but I wanted to show you this amazing necklace from Sportsgirl, which sort of just hangs around your neck without actually closing and really suits anything with a shirt collar.

Also, this has been my go-to hairdo since my fringe is in that awkward “do I grow it or do I trim it” stage. And yes, that is a painted portrait of my cat in the background. Yes, I am that kind of crazy.
