One of my sort-of new year resolutions was to get back into drawing and painting. My friend Helena asked for a painting of her homegirl Cara for her new house so I naturally obliged. Strong facial features, intense eyebrows and pastel hair? Probably my favourite combination.
I’ve been trying desperately to be a better person this year. Less impulsive spending on material things, and more time and money devoted to things that will better me as a person. I joined the gym, I’m eating really healthily, preparing lunches to take to work everyday, painting and reading, spending quality time with my friends and family… But that part of me that Just. Really. Really. Wants. New. Clothes. All. The. Freakin. Time continues to creep back in. Currently lusting over the above.
Firstly I need to apologise for the pro-longed and entirely accidental silence on the blog for the past month. Christmas and NY holidays came and went, back to work, and somehow Style Paws was shoved to the bottom of my list of priorities. I’ll be back into the swing of things shortly but in the meantime here is something totally non-fashion related but totally whistling-related that I worked on over the summer break.
