{Featuring my new Garmin with Jonathan Adler band}

I like to think of myself as a moderately active person. I hit the gym at least three times a week, and enjoy the occasional yoga or pilates class, mainly to combat the fact that my favourite past time in the universe is eating. Honestly.

So when I was approached to try out the Garmin Vivofit 2, I was pretty excited because a) you can now get cute Jonathan Adler collaboration bands (like the pink one pictured) and b) because I do work a standard 9-5 desk job, and I suspected I’m still not getting enough exercise in my week… much to my disappointment.

Having been wearing the Garmin for a week now, I can confirm with 100% confidence that I am both addicted to it, and also most definitely not stepping enough. With a goal of hitting 10,000 steps a day, it’s pretty horrifying to learn the only days that I do reach this target is when I specifically set out to do a 3km run after work.

So what are my take-outs from this?

1. Garmin’s are good for lazy people, because you only need to charge it once a year (!!!) and you never need to take it off – it’s waterproof and everything.

2. Garmin’s are also good for lazy people because you get addicted to improving your step count and your sleep quality, and I’m now super conscious of taking the stairs, parking my car a bit further, all those things deep down you know you should be doing, but sometimes conveniently ignore.

3. Garmin’s are good for fashionably-conscious folk, as you can change the band to suit your mood, at the moment I’ve switched to plain white.

Because lucky for you, I have a Garmin Vivofit 2, plus a trio set of too-kewt Jonathan Adler bands to giveaway!

To enter, simply leave a comment below telling me why you think sporting a fetching Vivofit 2 will change your life.

Giveaway open to Australian residents only, you got til midnight Monday 1st September. Good luck!

Vivofit 2 sounds like the ideal fitness companion! A friend to push you harder, help you keep track when you loose your way and remind you to always be on your toes! Together Vivofit 2 and I would be the perfect pair! An unstoppable dream team!

Oh Sam! I am so in need. I work out 5-6 days a week but the basics like drinking enough water and getting enough steps in the day when I’m at my desk I forget about! I am really keen to get a fitness band/watch but I usually hate what they look like. Sounds like a perfect fit ❤️

I would absolutely love to receive this Vivofit 2 as I have been trying to get back into fitness and a healthy lifestyle ever since having my son and have sadly lacked the motivation. He comes first now! Having the Vivofit 2 staring at me all day from my wrist to remind me how well, or poorly I am doing, would be a godsend. Plus it’s a gorgeous accessory as well – it’s a win win! Getting fit plus fashion forward all at the same time. You can’t go wrong!

This amazing Vivofit 2 will change my life by confirming how sedentary I am. Sloth like. Slow. Still. And will inspire the inspiration needed to MOVE. Also, who doesn’t love more arm candy!

It would nice to know just how far I travel from one end of the house to the other every day whilst cleaning, cooking etc,, and look trendy and in style and be the envy of the kids

I was JUST talking to a friend about how to make activity tracking bands look nicer because slightly vain me wants it to look pretty too! I think this is the perfect solution. Changeable bands sound pretty ace! (And I too have recently realised I only make the 10,000 steps when I go for a run and I should be more conscious of my steps!)

You had me at hot pink Jonathan Adler band, but this would be so handy to kickstart a summer-is-coming exercise routine and focus on areas I can easily improve for my general health. As someone who also sits at a desk all day, I need all the incentive to step that I can get!

I am currently competing in a 9 week fitness challenge and I need all the help I can get to track and achieve my fitness goal. The fact that I would only need to charge once a year is oh so convenient which means I’ll never miss a step due to ‘down time’. Plus, lets face it – the Garmin Vivofit 2 is the snazziest looking fitness tracker of our time.

Who seriously exercises enough?? Anyone? I think this is the perfect motivational tool to more! Would also love to know how many steps I take a day on my busy nursing ward, and make up the rest with a walk on the beach. Winner winner!

Its so pink and pretty. Raising 3 kids under age 3 means there is barely a chance to sit down. even my meals are now mostly being eaten while standing. it would be fascinating (and perhaps a little confronting) to see in numbers just how much movement is done each day to look after so many kids. xx

This gorgeous little pink band has my name all over it!! We all know I’m not super stylish or very active of late…so think it could change my life for the better in more ways than one!
I’d love to get my hands on the Garmin Vivofit 2 to kick start the ‘Steptember’ challenge & to just jazz up my trackies when out and about accumulating 10,000 steps each day.

I’ve been wanting to start a health kick for some time and this is exactly the kind of tool that will help me stay focussed, which has always been my problem!
