{Christmas wrap & trim via Typo and various $2 stores}

My first post on my newly designed blog, and it’s about Christmas wrapping? Yeah, it does seem a little strange to me too. Nonetheless, here I am, here is the new blog and I’m pretty excited to be able to share things (even as menial as gift wrap) with you guys again. First, big ups to my amazing friend Jacqui who is responsible for Style Paws’s end of year face lift.

I take Christmas pretty seriously. Just ask my friends who last year stepped into a white winter wonderland upon entrance to my dining room. Just ask my housemate who has to deal with not being able to put his Christmas presents under the tree unless they have been properly gift wrapped. In my choice of colour scheme. By me.

Having had a pretty tumultuous past couple of months (more on that another time), my expectations for this holiday season were pretty low. But as soon as presents had been bought and I was standing there deciding what paper to buy, I simply had to decide on a theme (no Woolworths red and green for me, thank you). These certainly aren’t the best dressed gifts on Pinterest, but I think it’s always good to put as much effort into the presentation as you do into the gift itself. It makes the giving (and receiving) experience just that little bit more special.
